It wasn’t long before we’re starting to see what TheMacPak is looking forward to becoming by offering its first exclusive: BitClamp. And not only does TheMacPak hold the exclusive rights to selling the software for two weeks before anyone else — it’s also offering it at a considerable discount during the first week for $10, and the second week for $15. And all of this is before BitClamp begins selling in other places for $20.

BitClamp is being called as “the AppZapper of encryption”, thanks to its simple — but efficient — drag and drop encryption/decryption functionality. It has some good choices of secure algorithms to choose from, has Growl support, and offers a free decryptor for the people you’re sending your files to open — provided that you give them the password.
BitClamp looks like an interesting app for a wide variety of users, and has plans for a Windows port in Q1 2008 for cross-OS compatibility. Not to mention that it’s one of the best MacPak offers — and an exclusive one, at that.
