Both MacHeist’s and MacUpdate Promo’s respective bundles have returned this month, once again delivering quality Mac apps at one steal of a price.

First, we have MacHeist’s Retail Bundle, which consists of 12 Mac apps in total. It is called the Retail Bundle because it is planned for it to also be sold as a boxed set in retail stores, hopefully in the Apple Stores. The Retail Bundle contains the following Mac apps: Awaken, Cha-Ching, CoverSutra, DEVONthink Personal, iClip, Overflow, Wallet, WriteRoom, XSlimmer, Enigmo, Bugdom 2, and Nanosaur 2. While there may be some repeats in this MacHeist bundle, it was planned to be appealing for new Mac users. And still, MacHeist’s convenient option to gift duplicate licenses may bring happiness to someone dear. The Retail Bundle is now being sold online at MacHeist.com for $49.
Second, we have MacUpdate Promo’s Parallels Bundle, which consists initially of 7 apps, with an extra three apps being added as sales increase. It is called the Parallels Bundle because the star attraction app is Parallels Desktop, which is the last app to be unlocked. The Parallels Bundle contains the following Mac apps: Hazel, Art Text, MenuCalendarClock, Leap, StoryMill, Typinator, DVDRemaster Pro, Sound Studio, BannerZest, and Parallels Desktop. Of course, the three last apps have yet to be unlocked. While the Parallels Bundle has more diverse apps, it comes at a steeper price: $64.99. The Parallels Bundle is now being sold online at MUPromo.com.

With so much apps to choose from, it’s like another Christmas for Mac users — in the middle of April. If people are buying the software bundles because they have at least a couple of apps that interest them, it’s no wonder why these are successful — buying this way is much cheaper than buying two or more separately.
