You know what they say about the calm before the storm, right? Well, if all of these recent news, rumors, and spy shots represent the calm before this year’s MacWorld kick-off… imagine the real storm. In this last day before Steve’s keynote, let’s recap what’s happened.

New iTunes video features? Check. There’s been more than enough sources saying that movie rentals via iTunes are going to happen, so the chances are now slim that we won’t actually see it at MacWorld. By the way, Family Guy fans, be sure to pick up this Tuesday’s release of the Blue Harvest (Star Wars spoof) DVD — it looks like it’ll be one of the first DVDs to also include the movie as an iTunes file for your computer/iPod enjoyment.
There’s something in the air. The first MacWorld banners have also been spotted in San Francisco’s Moscone Center, teasing us with that phrase. But what, exactly, is in the air? 9 to 5 Mac speculates the existence of a so-called “MacBook Air”, based on an Adium log.
