Mac Candy :: WideMail

Letterbox, the fantastic widescreen Mail plugin that we learned to love, still hasn’t provided a Leopard-compatible solution — even with the developer assuring that said version is coming soon. But if you’ve been left out by the lack of Leopard solutions for this kind of task, there is no reason to be sad — a new and improved plugin is here to save the day: the aptly-named, WideMail.

WideMail is 100% Leopard compatible, and provides the triple column view that makes Mail a joy to use on a widescreen. It also added something new for Letterbox veterans: two lines of information regarding the mail: the subject, followed by the sender and the date. If you use Mail regularly, and you’re on a widescreen, Leopard-enabled machine, you owe it to yourself to try out this magnificent plugin.
