Last year’s iPhone launch was a spectacular media circus, mostly because Apple knew how to hype the it. Apple’s push for the new iPhone 3G hasn’t been as dramatic as last year, but everyone is already excited about the next iteration of the device. Available today through the Apple Store, new models of the iPhone and iPod touch have been added. The new iPhone has a 16GB capacity and costs $499; the new iPod touch has a 32GB capacity and also costs $499.
