Accessory Review :: Waterfield iPhone/iPod Travel Case

There are more iPhone/iPod cases than one could imagine, but what if you’re looking for a case that not only keeps the gadget safe — but all of its accessories? Then keep on reading to learn more about the Waterfield’s iPhone/iPod Travel Case.

The Travel Case has quality jammed all around it — everything from the materials, the stitching, and the individual pouches for accessories. I’m not kidding, this is the most solid case I’ve ever gotten my hands on. And it’s no wonder, as Waterfield Designs takes pride in its “ridiculously well-made” and “fastidiously designed” products.

I field-tested the Travel Case through one of my constant airport adventures, and certainly made the life of a gadget-lover far more organized than what it normally is. The constant battle with tangled cables and misplaced accessories are now a thing of the past thanks to the pouches that separated the accessories within the same case.

The Travel Case is available in three sizes — small, medium, and large. The one you’re seeing in the photo above is the large model, which is big enough to fit my Bose headphones, endless cables, and docking station besides the iPhone. And yet, there was still space left for other than my usual accessories.

If there is only one complaint for this case, perhaps it is that it’s built for the traveler. It cannot replicate the same experience if you use it for, say, going to a café. And while it may fit perfectly inside any backpack or briefcase, it is perhaps overkill for taking it alone with you.

San Francisco-based Waterfield Designs has a reputation for quality, as well as for style. From the first time I looked at the Travel Case I couldn’t have second-guessed such a reputation. Its sleek, waterproof materials make it look and feel unlike any other case. Perhaps its the stitching, but as far as all-in-one cases go, perhaps this is the best. The cases cost $35, $37, and $39, depending on which size you want. Oh, and different colors are available, too. This product is highly-recommended for the constant traveler!

Thanks for the review. Gonna get me one of these. I’ve been using their sleeves for years (love ‘em). Time to expand into some new gear. Thanks.
